About the Author

Hello and Welcome

I am an Ex-Roman Catholic who searched for the truth, drawn to the well of salvation in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Now, today, here I stand, boldly, earnestly contending for the truth according to the pure Word of God (Proverbs 3:4-6) with witness and testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.

Some years ago, after “coming out from amongst them” in light of, and in obedience to, Scripture, I read certain books and duly commenced with research on the subject of “Charismatic Chaos” and the seducing spirit thereof.

Furthermore, I enrolled at Bible College in order to unlearn “error” and learn the truth of the word of God, thereby, studying to show myself approved with scripture, the whole counsel of God, rightly divided, of which is imperative.

Broken by almighty Sovereign God, with a contrite heart of repentance, I truly declare: Jesus is Lord.

The penultimate book of the Bible is Jude, wherein the author identifies himself as Jude, the “brother of James” (v.1). Jude had intended to write a treatise on salvation, whereupon he was led to write the New Testament’s strongest condemnation of false teachers and teachings.

Thereby, Jude beseeches “to those who are called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ,” entreating them to “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.” (v. 1,3) Furthermore, he warned believers that “certain persons have crept in unnoticed. (v.4)

Today, we find these, ‘certain persons,’ to be among us everywhere. Indeed, their books are in the “Christian” book stores; their false teachings are proclaimed within the churches; they are speaking at conferences; they travel the globe and visit churches; they are leading church ministries and of course, writing in “Christian” magazines and on ministry websites.

The Lord Jesus Christ warned us, clearly, that we are to “beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:15-16)

We ought to be “Bereans” as in Acts 17:11 – the apostle Paul escapes from the unbelieving Jews in Thessalonica, and is taken by night into Berea. Afterwards, he enters a synagogue of the Jews in Berea. “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

Therefore, a Berean, is a believer who searches the scriptures to verify whether the things he has been taught are scriptural. In view of Acts17:11, is a believer, follower of Christ alone, who allows the scriptures alone to be the final authority. A true Berean will not accept any teaching that has no scriptural foundation.

The Berean’ blogs defending truth are written so as to “sound the trumpet” with a call to discernment, of the “unfruitful deeds of darkness.” (Ephesians 5:11) whilst shining a light on the truth of the pure Word of God.

“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them
that put their trust in him.
” (Proverbs 30:5)

Information and resources for discernment so as to help you discern the true doctrine and teachings of the Bible in the midst of what is being presented as the truth today. “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1)

"Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.... Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming - in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning - lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"
